Jets Want Randy Moss?

We all know by now that Randy Moss was waived today by the Vikings.  Incarcerated Bob says the Jets are in on Randy Moss, but it’s important not to take him too seriously.  As usual, Bob will probably be wrong and make up some excuse for being wrong.

*BREAKING NEWS* Sources indicate Jets are holding a meeting at this hour in regards 2 possibly get involved on the Moss pending Availability

*BREAKING NEWS* The JETS will be involved on Moss / Only if 1) He in facts gets waived 2) Makes it through waiver wire w/o getting claimed

Why would the Jets want this jackass? He’s destroyed every locker room he’s been in. The Jets need team players, not selfish players. This man is exactly what is wrong with the NFL and all of sports. Let him go to another team and ruin their chemistry.

Leo Mazzone Candidate for the Next Yankees or Mets Pitching Coach?

When Dave Eiland was fired, I began to think of possible replacements.  One that popped into my head was former Orioles and Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone.  According to the New York Post, this could happen.

Leo Mazzone is looking for a job in New York.

The former Braves pitching coach said Thursday he would love to take on the same job with either the Mets or Yankees. Mazzone was asked on Sirius/XM’s Mad Dog Radio if there was any particular job he would be interested in.

“Yeah, there certainly is,” Mazzone said. “And it has New York in front of it, too. I mean, it can be in the American League or the National League.”

Mazzone was given a lot of credit for being Bobby Cox’s right-hand man in Atlanta and helping form the Braves dominant pitching staff of the ’90s that included Greg Maddux, John Smoltz and Tom Glavine.

I would love to see what Mazzone could do with Joba, A.J., or Hughes.  He would definitely be an upgrade over Eiland.  I think he would be the best fit for the Yankees and the Mets (if they decide to fire Dan Warthen).
